I love the superbowl and good food. We will be cheering on the PATRIOTS since that is DH team.

Please post your menu for the superbowl and your recipes for awesome football food. Also, let us know who you are pulling for.

Not sure what we are having yet other than buffalo wings! Inspire me!

:11: (this is the closest I could find to a football smiley)

GO PATRIOTS!

Last year we hosted a party, but this year we are just guests. I am taking Wings (for a wing cook off contest), jalapeno popper dip,and various snacks for the kids.

Giants fans here all the way!!:yay:

We are watching it with our fellow relocated NYer neighbors. I am making these delicious little gems- http://www.bigredkitchen.com/2008/04/mini-ham-and-cheese-rolls.html

The Patriots are my second favorite team in the NFL. My very favorite, hometown, come before all others team is the NY GIANTS. So we are going for them.

It will be just me and the kids so no huge menu. Dinner will be turkey/feta burgers and a big tossed salad, and I will make a special treat of loaded nachos for the game, and that will be plenty for us.

I could not care less about the teams but we are hosting a party as I love football!

I am deciding between this:

or Chili.

This looks good as an app:

No menu yet, but I'm rooting for the Giants!

GO ELI....if it can't be Peyton, then it might as well be little brother!

(Sad Colts fan here...can't ever, ever under any circumstance root for the Patriots!)

I've seen a very similar recipe before and had forgotten all about it. I've going to have to give this a try!

Patriots fans here...

I'm planning on making a snack mix, some kind of artichoke/feta dip and maybe sweet & sour meatballs. We'll be skiing with friends in NH, so it all needs to be portable ;)

We're having a couple of families over. It's like a playdate for the kids and the adults. :)

I'm keeping it simple---grill some chicken, rice, beans, tortillas to make tacos. Then I'll have chips and salsa, maybe a salad, beer and juice for the kids.

I have a secret crush on Tom Brady, so I'll be rooting for the Pats ;)
