Use by date - ground beef?

I got my first PeaPod delivery today and I needed ground beef for the chili cheese dog nachos I'm making on Sunday. The use by date on the ground beef is Feb 4th. Can I stretch it by a day or should I just cook it tmrw and reheat on Sunday?

I was concerned once about a date that was the same as the day something was delivered (not Peapod, a local grocer). I called because I expected that they would give me ground beef that had a later date, and they said the date on the package was always stamped as the day it was packed. So I used it several days later and it was fine. I would totally use yours on Sunday unless it looks off- it's hard to know when they packed it.
