Collection went on sale Sunday 12:01am, and seems like Missoni part 2. I couldn't make it to the store, but did score a cat tote and scarf online at 10pm Sat since I'm on the west coast. This morning, there were some things on sale online still: cat shirt, navy/red striped tee, yellow blouse, light blue blouse. If you use your Target red card, you get 5% off and free shipping.

I was at my nearest Target around 9:00 yesterday morning (I was actually out of milk and Target is the nearest place to buy). When I got there they didn't seem to have much of a selection in-store. What they had barely looked touched (racks full, all sizes available), which leads me to believe that they just didn't get much inventory. There were a few styles of tops (the tees with the tie at the neck, as well as the one with "lace" down the front, the cat tee) but none of the bottoms that were shown with them online were available. They had a blue floral dress and the blush one with the mustard plaid, but the full-skirted navy dress with the stripes near the hem (featured in the ads and even the point-of-purchase display) wasn't there.

This morning I popped into the Target closest to my boys' school and they still seemed to have a fair amount left...but it was the same items as at the store closer to home.

The one outfit I thought I might buy...
http://www.target.com/OpenZoomLayer?template=scene7-image&image=Target/13840174_is&swCellSpacing=10,10&swHighlightThickness=1&swBorderThickness=0&itemTitle=Jason%20Wu%20for%20Target%C2%AE%20Long-Sleeve%20Sheer%20Blouse%20in%20Blush%20Dots&altindexid=1
...wasn't available in either store I visited. I tend to think they just didn't get it. Honestly most of the line is not really my style. It's just a little too "girly" for me.

I went to the Target near my house yesterday afternoon, the "unpopular" Target that usually has lots of this specialtly stuff on hand (the one that isn't too crowded on Black Friday). There wasn't much left. Everything left was in L or XL, except for the t-shirt with the "lace" printed on it. Since I am a 5'0" XS, I passed. I have to pick up a prescription from a more "popular" Target later this week, so maybe I will find something that has been returned?

I just don't get how they spend so much $$$ on advertising this stuff and then make it so unavailable.

Just heard about this. Not really my style, but I thought this (http://www.target.com/p/Jason-Wu-for-Target-Poplin-Dress-in-Navy/-/A-13840107#?lnk=Other_JASONWU_0205_HEADEROPENCONTAIN TER|HEADEROPENCONTAINTER&intc=404143|null) was cute. Looks like it's OOS everywhere, of course. I don't stress myself out with these "opportunities."

I was just able to order that dress online in a size 8. It looks like people are saying the sizing is all off and runs quite large. I'm usually a 10, but ordered the 8.

I don't think that dress even shipped to my local Target. I was there an hour after opening yesterday and the racks barely looked touched, yet that dress was nowhere in sight. I can't imagine that was the only thing anybody bought...although it was one of the cuter pieces in the collection.

I ordered a few things online last night but a lot of it was sold out. I went yesterday morning but didn't get there till 8:45 (I had to bring the kids so we couldn't get out of the house that early), and there were so many people there and most of what was left on the racks was L or XL. I will see when I get them...I may return if the quality or fit isn't great (all the fabrics seemed rather thin). But I love the style! And I have a soft spot for girly dresses and pussy bow blouses!

If anyone is able to get the cat T in S or M, or cat tote or scarf and doesn't want it, let me know! I'll buy it off you!

ETA: Thanks babybell and pomegranate. I was able to order that dress in size 6. Not sure if it will be the right size (I'm usually 4 or 6 but the 4 isn't available) but it's worth a try!

The gray tee with lace front and blush tee with black bow tie in front is available online now. They had my size (medium). This is crazy! I don't know how Target is releasing inventory. With no-minimum free shipping on the Target Red card, I've placed five orders today! This is worse than the Lands End sale in December.

I ordered a few items online and then picked up 2 others at the Target store today. It was a very small display at Target and most of what was left were sizes L and XL. From looking at the website, it seems like many of the items were only available online, so the stores really didn't get that much. I like the girly dresses and skirts so I'll probably check for returns in the coming weeks.

Has anyone worn anything from the Jason Wu for Target collection yet? Most of the pieces were too short, too thin and didn't fit right on me. I was really disappointed with the quality and fit of the collection. But I kept a couple of dresses. One is the navy floral sundress that the First Lady wore recently:
Michelle Obama in Jason Wu for Target dress (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/02/14/michelle-obama-jason-wu-for-target_n_1276759.html)

I copied her look with the blue cardigan and the belt on top of the cardigan.

I also kept this navy poplin dress. I tried it on for these pics with my red belt and red trench coat, but haven't had a chance to iron it and wear it IRL yet so excuse the wrinkles!
