Does anyone have one of these?

We have one and it really stinks even after having it for over a year. Our heater went out and I need to use it in my office but I can't get over the smell. I'm wondering if it's normal for them to smell sort of oily/fumey?

We've had one for a couple years now. Don't know if it's the exact same model, but it's probably close.

That smell is normal. Obnoxious, but normal. It will go away eventually, or at least it did for ours.

We used to use them years ago and still have a couple for emergencies. I don't remember ours smelling. The popping sound that it made was a bit strange though.

Oh yeah, there's that too. Another obnoxious, but totally normal occurrence.

Thanks guys! The popping noise scared me at first... i've had mine for a few years but we don't use it very often.
