UPDATE Whoa! Interview tomorrow at 10 a.m. (mojo please!)

UPDATE #2:
Today I got a phone call saying they weren't hiring me, not because they didn't want to, but because they are not hiring anyone AT ALL. They looked at their second semester enrollment and needed to make some budget cuts and so the position was eliminated for now. If I were the interviewers, I would be really upset! They just spent a lot of time and effort interviewing people for this! And of course it took up some of my time too.

UPDATE:
They called me back for a 2nd interview, which I had yesterday. It went really well. One of the interviewers commented that I was very thorough. Now I just have to wait until next week to hear if I got it or not.

I applied for a PT job over a month ago. Haven't heard a thing until today. FINALLY. They called to set up an interview.

They have TOMORROW available. 10 a.m. CST. It actually works out perfectly b/c DS2 is in Mother's Day Out on Weds morning so I don't need to get a sitter, but I'm going to be cutting it very very close to get to the interview on time!

Tonight I will be scrambling to prep and figure out what to wear! It would be great if I could go buy a new outfit, but that isn't going to happen.

The job is only 8-12 hrs a week. He told me I'd get a call back next week when they do 2nd interviews. Seems like overkill for a 1.5 day a week position!! They just need to hire me and be done. LOL!

Okay, so how bizarre is this.

The position was at a local college. I know that budgets are tight, and they even hinted at it in my first interview when talking about the work hours. They said if I worked more than usual in one week because of an event, then I would take off the next week. (It was an events coordinator position)

Oh that sucks! I'm sorry! I have BTDT; gotten lots of positive feedback at an interview but then the opportunity evaporates. Just remember, it's not you. They liked you. You have good skills! I'll be sending you Mojo for new and better opportunities to come your way!
