I'll be frank, I don't get these shoes. I don't think they look especially manly or feminine.

I'll be frank, I don't get these shoes. I don't think they look especially manly or feminine. I find it difficult to imagine them flattering anyone.

I really wanted to like Tom's but whenever I try them on, I can't help but think how ugly they make my feet look. However - I have seen them on other people who totally rock the look...I am just not one of them. Boo.

I think those red ones would make cute summer shoes for someone who can rock the Tom's look!

I actually have this exact style and color that I bought last summer in the women's department at Nordstrom, so if they made it in women's sizes, clearly NOT manly!

Toms are so not my style. Don't understand or like them. I think they are fugly, same as Crocs, another shoe trend that neither I nor my kid wore.

I think it's funny that we have simultaneous threads asking if mens' red shoes are ok for women and if boys' red shoes are ok for girls! Looks like we are in need of a gender neutral shoe section!

OP, no one would think twice if you were wearing these.

Love it. I have wide feet and can't wear Toms. Never even thought to look at Men's. How does the sizing run?

How did they wear? I am a little concerned about the sole, and for $53 I am not sure they will really hold up, Granted I won't be wearing them to work, but I want to wear them more than just a few weekends or trips before the soles start to fray.

Those are gender neutral :-) I would get them if I look good in them.

Although they were very comfortable, I didn't wear them an enormous amount as they didn't match everything. But, I'd say they look almost new after a summer and fall of wear. There is no sign of fraying, either of the sole or the canvas. I was careful about not wearing them in wet weather, though. I wore them with shorts, denim skirts, jeans and casual pants.
