Quick - anyone accidentally washed a diaper in the washing machine?

DS threw up in the middle of the night last night and I totally forgot I took off his diaper in the bed when I wrapped the fitted sheet around all the mess (blankets/loveys/plush animal)! Anyway, I ran the load last night only to realize this morning there is gunky gel ALL over the washing maching from the diaper. I wiped up and shook out what I could and I'm re-running the load. Anything else I can do at this point not to damage the washing machine and/or my dryer?

Unfortunately, yes. Gross isn't it? Gel beads everywhere!

I did an extra rinse, then wash, then 2 more rinses. It's important to get all the chemical residue out of the wash, or it will cause burn like rashes. Ask me how I know this :(
