The price changing is kind of weird since I'm certain their site is seeing a dramatic increase in traffic. I could only find one review which was that they didn't ship quick enough for someone to receive for a Christmas gift and they were unhappy with their customer service. The site has only been around since last fall. I hope my stuff ships but with the price changes I'm starting to think somethings not right.

Yeah - the wooden alarm clock went from $40 to $20 in the last 2 hours and then the code on top of that made it $10! I think we might. They are a real company with some reputable names associated with them. They are not that old and it is possible they have all this stuff in inventory. A couple of times it said they only have 1 or 2 left which gives me hope that they actually have a count, unlike some other great deals that were nonexistent. I read online they were closing in April which does confuse me a bit because why were the prices dropping yesterday?

That sucks, and is a silly way to do it! Sorry about the Zoku, but perhaps you can re-order the other stuff if it's still in stock?

I guess the 'smart' way to do it would be to order in batches of $75 (pre-coupon) and put multiples of one item in the same order to minimize the risk of canceled orders...

I'm guessing that "in fulfillment" means that they have yet to determine if anything in your order is OOS so the order may still not ship..I placed 2 smaller orders and one large one. The 2 smalls say in fulfillment and the large says insufficient inventory. I've been on hold with CS for "the next available rep." for almost 20 min. now trying to see if I can reorder the in stock items from the large order and ask if the two other orders are likely to be cancelled...In the end I'd just really be happy with 1 Zoku.

I was told by CS that In Fulfillment means it is in the warehouse and should ship today or tomorrow. I ordered a Zoku at 12:50PM EST and it is supposedly shipping.

Okay, I was able to get through to CS. She said that if the order says in fulfillment, it is getting ready to ship so presumably you should get everything (which means that I will get the Zoku that I ordered for me but not the ones I went back and added later as gifts for my brother/SIL and sister/BIL and family-I'm grateful for the one!)

I also went through my order with the insufficient quantities and the items that came up OS were the Zokus, the Sophies, and the Emu slippers (which were a huge bummer because my brother and SIL are ttc and she's from Australia and those koala Emu slippers would have been an adorable congrats gift when they finally get pg). Oh well. She placed a new order for everything else that was showing in stock.

But I talked to customer service and found out some additional info:

A couple of the items I got yesterday dropped in price, so I gave them a call. The (very nice) woman I spoke with said they'd do price adjustments up to 14 days out, so I'll definitely be keeping an eye on the big ticket item I got dh (a Timbuk2 messenger bag). My order's in fulfillment (ie, at the warehouse), so she has to wait until it actually ships to do the price adjustment, but she said I'd get an email confirming the PA when it happens.

Returning makes me nervous too if they are really going out of business.

Question...if an order shows insufficient inventory, can I safely assume that it will not ship and I can just go ahead and place a new order including the items that are in stock, or do I need to actually call and have the first order cancelled to make sure that I don't end up receiving the same items twice?

The only thing that helps when calling is finding out which items in your order are sold out so that you don't purchase them again.

I ended up placing another order yesterday afternoon, only to find an insufficient inventory code on my account history late last night. Since it was after hours, I sent an email, but have yet to receive a response. When I called around noon today, I confirmed my entire order was cancelled, and now, thanks to the slick deals effect, the vast majority of my items are OOS (when only 1 OOS item caused the problem yesterday supposedly). If I placed the order for the available items (not my favorites), my total is around $100, which would mean that I would have to pay shipping charges according to the CS representative. They will not waive the shipping fee even though their poor inventory tracking and policy of canceling the entire order caused the problem. A supervisor was not available, but I should expect a call within 48 hours. The CS rep does not know if/when emails will be returned. Not helpful. They are clearly overwhelmed and ill prepared. Hopefully, my first order will go through. If not, I guess it was not meant to be.

I have two orders "In fufillment" and one order, which happened to the FIRST I placed, for a Zoku being sent as a gift, that say "Warehouse Validation Error".

After a lengthy and roundabout conversation, the answer is that they don't know what that means. They don't know of my order is being fufilled or not.

I was informed that my order had not gone through, so I could just cancel and reorder.

I pulled up my bank online while on the phone. My card WAS charged.

They offered to refund and let me reorder, but I pointed out that it was now out of stock, so how could I reorder?

I got the "first come, first served" speech to which I responded that it was my FIRST order of three of the same item and they did not go out of stock on it until the next day, so...yeah, first come, first served, fufill my order damn it! She also stated that they are clearing out their warehouse and will not be restocking anything. "We are getting rid of it all."

I told them that I would wait to cancel just in case this was a computer glitch b/c if they could not see why that error message came up and they did not know what it meant, then there was a chance I might still receive it.

I asked how long they would be in business so if I do not receive, I could have my card refunded.

The girl then said, "Uuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....did you hear somewhere we were going out of business?"

"Yeah, it's all over the internet that you are going out of business. I think I read April". (In addition to the fact that she already told me they are getting rid of everything!)

"Oh, well, um...yeah. It will be in the next couple of weeks actually, so, like, we will be done taking orders in like a week."

Bottom line: order now while you can, but I would not expect to get everything fufilled. And if you don't receive in a timely fashion, don't wait to refund, either!

That's what happened to me with Cambria cove. I got email and telephone people tell me I would be refunded for things that didn't ship, but the credits didn't go through and it was just too confusing to figure out what got billed and shipped when, so I just called it a loss and moved on. So I got decent deals overall, not outstanding deals like some folks did.

So I've been shy to order from this sale.

I hate when companies do that to me, they can't get it into their thick skull that it is an AMERICAN address, and why do they even offer it as an option if they are just going to cancel it?

I ended up reordering and shipping it to my parents. But I lost the Zoku as a result.

I specifically asked if that meant all of the items would ship, and she said yes. I hope she's right (and I really wish I could track it online!!).

I placed my order on Wednesday (about 1pm MST) and it went to fulfillment. I got a shipping notice today (got a Sophie, Fancy Nancy pj/book set, twig crayons, a wrap, and 2 tickle monster sets - the crayons and book set went even cheaper after I ordered, but I figure I did pretty good. I also went through my order with the insufficient quantities and the items that came up OS were the Zokus, the Sophies, and the Emu slippers (which were a huge bummer because my brother and SIL are ttc and she's from Australia and those koala Emu slippers would have been an adorable congrats gift when they finally get pg). Yay, one of my orders has shipped! I signed in, and there's a UPS tracking number under the "shipping" tab, and the order is listed as "complete." I placed a second order a day later, and that's still listed as in fulfillment.

I placed 3 orders: 2/15, 2/16 and 2/17

On 2/16, I was told that my 2/15 order was fine and would ship but my 2/16 order was cancelled due to an item going OOS. I placed the 3rd order to replace the 2nd. My order status as of 1PM today still showed "in fulfillment" for the 1st and 3rd orders. Today, I learned that my 2/15 1st order was not being processed because the following items went OOS:

I was told that I did get the Zoku popsicle maker and a few other items allegedly, except for the fact that the new order they just placed to fix the first order now says "insufficient inventory" (caught it on my account page before hanging up). Sigh. Apparently, the Zoku screwed it up (will not get it after all even though people who placed orders long after me actually got it). They now placed a third order to replace the first but without the Zoku. Only the coupon code did not take and I was charged 2x the correct amount. They had to again replace the order. My second order of 2/16 was cancelled. My third order placed on 2/17, is supposedly fine. I spent about an hour either on hold or with CS.

My time was not worth any deals that may come through. I cannot imagine they will possibly charge me the correct amount. A too good to be true situation for me anyway. I hope the rest of you have better luck!

Bottom Line: "In Fulfillment" may mean there is a problem, especially for orders placed early on.
