View Full Version : s/o Do the boosters in your car have LATCH? If not, do you buckle them when empty?

Poll following... This is a s/o of stillplayswithbarbies' tread about purchasing a booster with LATCH. In that thread, she explained that she wants LATCH so she doesn't have to worry about buckling the seat belt to secure the booster when it's not being used.

I haven't been in the carseat forum for many years, so I've never even heard of needing to do this. Daily I drive my car with four highback boosters (without LATCH) empty without them being buckled into the seatbelt. The strap is going through the top of the booster, of course, but I don't tell my kids to buckle their seat belts when they exit the car.

So I'm curious what you all do...
