I need something to transport my 17" macbook pro. I won't be carrying it around much so I don't need anything super fancy (cute is good!) but, more importantly, I need good padding when I travel with it through airports. Any ideas?

Since you won't be using it that much, how about a cute laptop sleeve and using a bag you already own?

ooooooh I need one too! I would like to keep the dust out....(my house is uber-dusty)

I've looked around a bit but they don't seem to make good ones for such big laptops....

TIA!!

I got a cute turquoise bag a couple years ago for my 17" mb pro at Target for something like $20. It's find for trips to the coffee shop, etc., and I always get compliments on the color. The bag isn't really big enough for the power cord and external mouse though, so if I was using it everyday I would need something else.

I have a chocolate brown and robin's egg blue bag for a 17" laptop by Belkin; we bought it several years ago on Amazon.

It's this one:
