We have been getting the Little Kids version for a number of years....ten bucks is the best deal I have ever gotten. we just started getting the Kids version and we like it, too! there are age guidelines that are pretty appropriate....

I went to purchase this and noticed that there was a note in the description that there is a preschool version as well and it will be on sale through them on Thursday.

I got it at this price last August (little kids version). DD LOVES it. She loves the pull out animal cards and requests to read them all the time. The little kids version has no advertising whatsoever.

I just contacted them and was told no, it will not extend an existing subscription... It's for first time subscribers only.

Eta: they also suggested contacting national geographic directly, to see if they might extend...
