Any hints for shoes that I could wear to a March wedding?

I am a bit stymied. I have winter and summer dress shoes, but I am not sure how to pull of something in spring. Likely pouring with rain.... (Vancouver):waving4:

I've done open-toed shoes at March weddings myself ... depending on the year, there could be snow on the ground or it could be muddy and puddly. You just NEVER know!!!

Our friends were married on St. Patrick's Day 6 years ago and I wore satin peep-toe pumps similar to these:

There were patches of snow on the ground and a bit of mud, but I was fine. (Well, except for REALLY wanting a pair of flats at the end of the night!)

If you go with an open-toe, would your DH be willing to pull up to the venue's entry to let you out before parking the car? (Assumes a car; apologies if this is not the case!)
