I need to replace the cordless phone/answering machine in our kitchen. I am interested in one that allows me to make calls from my cell phone via blue tooth through the cordless phone.

Anyone have one to recommend?

Amazon has this one as a daily deal today and I am thinking about it...

We cancelled out long distance plan on our land line, and use our cell to make the few long distance calls we use. However, I can not stand talking on my new iphone for more then a few minutes....

Panasonic home phone sets normally get great reviews. We have one at home and it's worked great for probably 8-10 years.

We have one that DH purchased in 2001 when we bought his first home. It still works great, but there is starting to be static and a ticking noise. I think it does interfere with out wifi at times though.

2.4ghz phones will do that.
