Mortgage broker rec?

Can anyone recommend a mortgage broker? We will be moving soon. Also- is it important to have a local mortgage broker, or is it okay to have one that is not nearby? Thanks!

We are in the middle of a re-fi with Wells Fargo (our current mortgage is with them too). I like that we have a local contact. When we applied online it gave me the option of dealing with someone local.
