I have mugs in mine, as we don't use them often. I'm wondering if something else might fit better. It's only 11" tall, so not too much.

What's in yours?

things I use infrequently. Specialty metal baking pans, drink pitchers.

:yeahthat: I put the things I need quickly when I am cooking on the stove in there. Of course DH and I are both tall so I think we use these cabinets more than most.

I think I'd burn my stomach if I had to get something out while cooking! I'm not tall.

Extra mixing bowls, a salad spinner, some tupperware pieces...that cabinet barely ever sees the light of day.

I can barely reach that cabinet. So, I stick stuff like my largest servings bowls, that I only use when we have a lot of ppl over and glass jars up there.

We use that cabinet multiple times a day. It holds: vitamins, Glasslock storage containers, a roll of tape, and a cup of pencils/pens/scissors. We have an over the range microwave too, so that cabinet doesn't get warm.

I should put scissors and tape up there so the kids can't keep stealing mine!

Canned goods - tomatoes, corn and all kinds of beans... ingredients for soups, Mexican and Indian dishes.

Mine is really hard to reach. I keep stuff I want to hide from the kids there.

Lol, nice! I like your answer the best. I would be a good place to hide stuff from the kids.

I liked the booze answer, but the bottles were too tall. I ended up moving the mugs to the cabinet with glasses and putting winter dishes and Christmas serving items above the stove. This way, I only need to go in there a few times a year. I had hoped to put all the large platters in, but most were too big.

It is the stuff I need while at the stove top: olive oil, various oils and vinegars, sirracha, salt, pepper grinder. The vent goes though that cabinet so not a lot of space.

All of my cookbooks and manuals for the every appliance in the house. And we keep a ice bucket in there too. It's an ackward space to reach over our stove and microwave.

It's way, way up there so I have no idea. I put stuff in 8 years ago, looked in 2-3 times since. Rescued the salad spinner from there last year. It's useless to me.

Cookbooks and my printed recipe folder - some filters for our ice/water machine.

Another one for recipe books. I am tall enough to reach them just fine, but it's not a cabinet I'd use all the time otherwise.

Now the one above the fridge; never open that one. I think I have some specialty drinkware. I don't think I've opened them in years.
