Do you have a membership to another Children's Museum? Perhaps this museum participates in the reciprocal program. I have a membership to a museum in Ohio (I live in MA) and we get into all kinds of museums and zoos for free or discounted admission.

We were there 2 years ago and I think it was pretty cheap to begin with.$12 or so. It's the best museum I've been to for kids. Spent 5 hours there. We did pay extra to see the butterflies.

Strong does participate in a network of Children's museums. So I'd check and see if a museum near you has memberships. It's a great place to visit! Have fun!!
