We got a flier after church that is called parents night out. The teens of the church are providing child care, pizza, and games. It is from 6-9.

It states to be generous with your donation in bold letters.

How do you determine how much to donate?

We have done $10/hour (ours was 4 hours long) for one 7 year old child.

I LOVE this (it's done at DD's private school, so she loves it and gets to play with her teachers/friends and I know she is totally safe and happy!)

I'd do $10/ hour as well.

For me, it totally depends on what it's going toward. For instance, I would give more for a "Camp Scholarship" fundraiser than for a "General Fun" fundraiser (ie, one that goes toward snacks and such). That being said, $30 seems reasonable for the 3 hours.

The youth group at a local church offers a similar night out for $20/child with a maximum of $50/family. The funds go towards the youth group's summer missions trip to help out in Mexico.
