does anyone know where to find reuseable cotton balls? i use one every morning with my toner, and then throw it away.

maybe some I can put in the wash? there has to be something, right?

Hmm, maybe cloth baby wipes. Ours (which I use as baby wash clothes) are flannel on one side. Seems like they would work. I have a few that are half size, that might be better.

How about cloth breast pads. I had some I loved that were sherpa.

This is what I would do. The half-size ones.

I crochet little squares with 100% cotton yarn. They are quick and easy to crochet if you know how, if not you can buy them on etsy for pretty cheap. Like this. I use ones from Homestead Emporium to remove my eye makeup every night. Love them! http://hyenacart.com/stores/HomesteadEmporium/

thanks for the thread and the ideas! I use cloth everything almost and I don't know why this never occured to me considering I use microfiber cloths for the actual makeup remover. Those cotton rounds though I still purchased for using with my toner and they add up plus feel flimsy. Thanks to the PP I took out some cotton sherpa scraps I had from diaper making and serged some teensy little circles from double layers. I'll try them out to see if they don't drink up too much toner this week and if they do I'll make the second layer flannel instead of sherpa. I just need to dig out a mesh lingerie bag to keep them from disappearing in the wash.

I did think this was super cute if not too functional:

I knit/crochet too and IME yarn when wet is a bit too elastic and not a fine enough guage for using with a toner. For that matter I'd avoid velour for wet use too. It feels nice and soft when dry but wet sort of sandpaperish.l
