i think this is the lowest i've seen it on amazon. the owl is the only one at that price and i know some of you may be looking for it. they make great gifts for 2-5 year olds. just bought one as a gift. happy shopping!

We're just embarking on the rounds of daycare birthday parties (and we don't really know any of the other families well). Are these good to have around for random 2-4 year old presents?

Sprog got one for Christmas and it's excellent quality. I think grandma paid more than that, though.

DD1 has one and she used it last year for nursery school. It is a great size for 2 year olds (maybe a tiny bit big if you have a petite kiddo) but she still uses it and she is a really big 3 year old.....I can see the average kid being able to wear it until at least 5. We also got the matching lunch bag which has gotten a lot of abuse and still looks great. Now I just need to find the bee bag for Bea.

Great deal! I got my daughter one for Christmas with a 20% off coupon at Piperlime, that was the best deal I could find at the time.

Mine came with a faulty zipper. I contacted Skip Hop and they sent me a new one. :thumbsup:

This is indeed a great deal. We got ours with a %25 off coupon at diapers.com and I thought it was a good deal at the time. DD1 loves her owl backpack, and as other PP have already said, it is really nice quality and would work for 2 to ~5 yo I would think.
