For those of you who have successfully sleep trained your babies...
I've been trying to sleep train... My 7 month old baby starts crying 20-30 minutes after I nurse & put her in crib. We finally get her to go back to sleep & put my 3 year old down. About an hour later, baby is crying again. Tried to let her cry it out- checking 20 mins or so... but my 3 year old wakes up & is crying. That wakes up the baby, even if she did go back to sleep. Result: Both my girls are crying & cranky- and WE are getting more tired & cranky ourselves.
Tried telling my 3 yr old that baby is ok & to go back to sleep, but she won't go back to sleep because baby is up & she can't sleep (sensitive sleeper).
Baby sleeps fine for 2 naps during the day. 1st child was Ferberized- thought it would be the same with 2nd one, but just cannot figure out what to do.
AND baby started sleeping 6 hours at a time, then suddenly hit this wake up pattern. I know she's capable, right??
