How to get (find or make) great white shark costume?

My DS was chosen to have a lead role in his first grade play! Yea! (Only bad thing is it's just a few days before my due date.)

We're supposed to provide a great white shark costume. We can make it or buy it. However, I am HORRIBLE at sewing. My family still teases me about a pillow "pig" I made in 6th grade Home Ec because my sis thought it was a cow for years. :) My mom can sew though, if we find a pattern or something.

I did a search and so far I've only found shark costumes for littler kids. He would need at size 7 or 8.
