inner harbor, baltimore hotel recs

We are planning a trip to baltimore to see a ball game and do the touristy things inner harbor in early september. Can anyone recommend a hotel near the inner harbor for DH, DD(6), and me? Thanks!

I stayed at the Renaissance a couple of years ago. It was nice and very convenient to everything.

We stayed at the Hampton Inn and were able to walk to the Inner Harbor and ball game. It's a very nice hotel and includes breakfast. I think it used to be an old bank and the lobby is beautiful. One of their floors (I can't remember which one) still looks like it kept a lot of the older (but beautiful) touches like very high ceilings, ornate wood work, etc.
