It's official, Peyton Manning is a Colt no more. I am truly sad. He's a great guy, a great role model and a class act. I wish him nothing but the best....but dang it, there will never be another Peyton!

I'm sad too. I'm a Colts fan from the Peyton and Dungy days. Obviously the announcement doesn't come as a surprise but I'm sad none the less. I had hoped he would've been able to finish out his career with the Colts like he wanted.

Never was a big colts fan, but I went to UT back in the Peyton days so I'm a Manning fan.

He's done a lot for the community.
Wonder how the hospital that named it's children's hospital after him is feeling?

It is a bummer. I wish he could have left via retirement on his own eventually. He's a great guy.

Geez. I'm not particularly a Colts fan but I love Peyton Manning. He seems like a real class act. It's too bad he couldn't finish his career there.

Been a Manning fan since I saw an interview about him on Wide World of Sports in 1994 during his freshman season at Tennessee. Started liking the Colts around the same too because of Marshall Faulk, and then continued to like them and root for them when Manning came. I wish him the best and hope the Colts are able to find a quarterback. I really hope for their sake that Andrew Luck isn't a bust.
