I am due in August, so I intend to wear whichever swimsuit I get a lot. We're also going to FL in April and I usually live in my bathing suit there. I am a 36D and am looking for some good support in the chest.

I really love the look of this Boden retro swimsuit. Possible drawbacks are the underwire support (could be supportive but might not be good for growing girls) and the price. This is probably my last pregnancy.

This one is similar to the Boden one but is not underwire. It has lightly padded cups. I have a maternity suit already with this type of strap and it makes me a little nervous as to whether it will stay where I need it to.

This one from ON isn't nearly as cute but gets good reviews and looks like it will cover where I need it to. I have 2 young DCs- one of whom I still hold, especially in water, so I need it to stay put. It has a padded shelf bra.

I kind of like the ON one, but then I really liked having a tankini when I was preg. While I like the boden one, it doesn't look all that supportive and there's also something about the halter that looks uncomfortable to me, not sure why.

2 piece, for sure. Lots of bathroom trips when pg!!

I definitely vote for a 2 piece, because you do not want to be pulling up a wet swimsuit when you are very pregnant. I was due last August and this one was awesome, plus, it was made by Anita, so it was great for support with no underwire, and looked good as I grew 2 cup sizes.

The Boden one is really cute but I agree with PP that it would be a PITA for bathroom trips. The fit would also vary quite a bit based on how you're carrying. With my first I basically had a basketball sticking out from me instead of the smooth belly to pelvis shown on the models. As a result one piece suits tended to fit funny and almost gape at the bottom below the belly.

This could be really cute if you found it in-store and the halter looks more supportive than the Boden option.http://img2.targetimg2.com/wcsstore/TargetSAS//img/p/13/84/13840345.jpg

I too have been searching. I need 2 suits. Here is my feedback so far: I have tried the Boden suit you linked to and it is really cute, but going back. Not enough support. There is no underwire and your boobs depend totally on the halter straps to hold them up. I am a DD though otherwise small framed and this will not work for me.

I did not order the old Navy suit you linked to because of the feedback re lack of support but I ordered their Sweetheart suit, which I am keeping. Sorry, posting from a tablet & can't link. But I just checked-it just went out of stock apparently. I would recommend it if it comes back. I guess I am not that
concerned about pulling down a wet suit! Doesn't seem like it is that big of a deal to me.

Almost all these suits are out of stock! I did score the black one with butterflies but it was shipped w/o the bottoms so I am not yet 100 percent sure it will work. But the top works and is very cute. Hopefully they get more stock.

I don't know your budget but if you look on Amazon there are some super cute suits around $100-125. I am not going to pay that, though.

I prefer to just get a really good bikini (here's hoping I don't get stretch marks with this next pg). I love the Victoria's Secret ones because you can order by cup size, and tops and bottoms separately. I got myself a couple of tankinis for the last pg, but hated all the extra fabric in the water. Just saying you don't HAVE to cover the belly if you don't want to.

I looked at those last year before I was pg, and wish I would have bought one then, b/c as PP mentioned, they're pretty much OOS. I especially love the purple one.

darn. Thanks for posting about it being OOS and online only. I would have been disappointed at Target.

Thanks for the review of the Boden and ON suits. What is with these designers not understanding that pg boobs need support?! C'mon! I'll have to check out the Sweetheart suit and hope it comes back in.

Yeah, I'm with you $100-$125 is more than I can pay for a year of use out of a suit.

Oh, unfortunately, this belly would not be a pretty site uncovered. I could have done a bikini after DS, but DD's pg left my belly looking like an angry feline got a hold of it.

Just go to Target, ON or Kohls. They'll have something and they will be adequate for a season of use. :) I used ON ones and they were fine, even without fancy support despite not being small on top. Or, ask your friends if they have any? You might score a nicer, fancier one that way.

This site still has many Anita styles available and some of them seem to be available in a lot of sizes. The purple ruched one is cute!

FYI, Babysteals has some maternity suits today. I've never heard of the brand but kinda like the camarga and provence prints. They usually ship quickly but don't accept returns.

Thanks for the recs on getting a 2-pc. bathing suit. I ended up getting the ON top and matching bottoms I linked to in my OP. They just arrived today and fit great! If anyone else is looking, I am a D-cup and the top is supportive enough for me.
