Anyone know any deals or where I can get the best price on duplo blocks? We have this set (http://www.amazon.com/LEGO-Duplo-My-First-Set/dp/B000SI9Y6A) and are looking to expand it a bit. I just want blocks, though, not a bunch of figurines, KWIM?

best price is probably the pre-christmas sales. this http://www.amazon.com/LEGO-Duplo-Basic-Bricks-Pcs/dp/B000WO7Y12/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1331280383&sr=8-5 is a great set of bricks.

I would try craigslist. Maybe even put an "ISO" ad up. Also, you can usually find them at children's consignment sales.

All of my duplo deals have come from postings on this board. I got some from Walmart.com before Christmas when they were on sale last year (paid $29 for one of the plastic containers-got a $20 e-gift card), some from B & M Walmart after Christmas (box of 200 for 1/2 price), and some from a Black Friday sale.

Sorry I am not more help.

My Kroger has this 71 piece Duplo set (http://www.amazon.com/LEGO-Duplo-Building-Set-71-pieces/dp/B002RL7VNO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1331407711&sr=8-1) for $14.99 - which is a Black Friday price! I have also found great deals at local thrift stores.
