I live in dresses for work in the spring and summer and am looking for some sandals that are dressy enough for an office environment but still comfortable to commute via public transportation. I'm not great with heels that are too high so thought wedges might be best.

I bought this pair last year and like the style but find that is not super comfortable for long walks:

I just bought this Cole Haan pair but can't decide if it's cute or old lady:

I've also been eyeing the Ugg Hazel sandals but worry that the black suede won't work for summer and the heel might be too high.

Any other ideas?

TOMS? I love mine. I got the gray tie dye last year and can't wait to wear them more.

I agree. I love TOMS wedges. I get a ton of complements whenever I wear them.

Never thought about Toms but the wedges look cute. I'll have to check them out in person to see if they work for my office but they look like a great weekend option.

I had to take the Toms wedges off the list. The reviews say they run narrow and my feet tend toward wide. Plus I didn't like the prominent labels on the back of the heel. Any other brands I should be checking out?

I have the Ugg Hazel II in "nopal" and they're very comfy, I called them my "autumn sandals" when I bought them in October. :) I might also wear them with jeans in the spring, but I think because of the darker heel and the suede upper, they will look odd with summery dresses.

The original Hazels have a cork wedge, so they look more summery. Would these work for you?

I'm a big fan of a nude shoe but the Cole Haan's seem a bit old lady colored to me. No idea why and maybe the color is reading different online. I think they just look a bit too white vs tan, if that makes any sense!

I'm eyeing the Ugg Hazels.

I think the Cole Haan's are going back since I'm leaning toward the old lady side of the fence too.

Anyone have the Ugg Isadora Sandal? I like the darker heel since I think that makes it more work appropriate but it's leather instead of suede so seems more summery. Now I just have to find my size in the black or sand color.

I have two pairs of Ugg Hazels with the cork wegde for summer. They are the perfect work shoe - polished but so incredibly comfortable. I do commute by train and can walk in these wedges all day long. I have black ones and dark tan ones. I wore my black ones with darker outfits (I wear a lot of black/gray/navy in the summer) and my tan ones with neutral and more colorful outfits. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

Do the ugg hazels run TTS or narrow? I'm definitely on the wider side now (thanks pregnancy!) but they're so cute!

Just ordered the Ugg Hazel II in Black and the Isadora in Sand. I wish they had my size at Zappos so I could have the shoes tomorrow but I'll have to wait about a week for the Nordstroms shipment.

It was hard to find my size so I had to get the Hazel II with the suede and dark heels. I wear alot of black so I figure they will work for at least spring and fall even if I won't want to wear them in the heat of summer.
