How young/old for a razor rip rider?

I found a great deal on a razor rip rider bike but I'm thinking it is too old for DS. He turns four this week (but is EXTREMELY tall). Still, four is too young, no?

I have one for my 8 year old and 5 year old. They love them!! I think your 4 year would be okay since he is tall. My biggest concern would be he can't reach the pedals but I have seen smaller kids ride them and they just scoot their bottoms to the end of the seat. Whenever we bring them to the park all the kids want a ride. I have ridden the trike too and it was a blast.
