I'm looking for really comfortable walking shoes that aren't too ugly or old ladyish. I would wear them primarily with jeans, but would prefer something that could also work with shorts and casual skirts. I don't want to have to wear socks with them. I wear a size seven and my foot is a litte wide. Clarks do not work for me.

What do you think of these?

Other suggestions? Those are about the top of my price range.

I have these Tevas and wear them with jeans and skirts. They are great for running around and my feet are super comfortable. I have these in a size 7 and they fit my slightly wide feet well.

I go to this blog (http://barkingdogshoes.com/) when I need suggestions for comfortable shoes. The lady that runs the blog has rheumatoid arthritis. She started the blog when she was searching for comfortable yet still stylish shoes.

HTH. I'm not afffiliated with the website or any of her sponsors. I was looking for reviews on a pair of shoes and her website popped up as one of my google query results.

The ones you posted, and the Keens that were linked are NMS at all. The Tevas that were linked might work for me as they are less "Earthy" looking. I do like the Misty shoes that were posted on the blog that was linked. I also really like my Dansko Professional clogs, I can walk all day in them.

I am a firm believer that you should get what you like though.
