Duck tape plus old Uggs equals...

"New" leopard print Uggs! I took dd2's beat up Costco uggs and covered them in leopard print duck tape. She is over the moon and I'm pretty stoked at how they came out!! I had to go lower on the toe since they were so banged up.
Took me about a half an hour to do both shoes. Cost..about $1.

Ohhhh I'd pin it!!! I actually think I will do it. DDs have knock-off uggs from ON that they wore last year AND this year and they are super worn. I had no clue they would still fit them but they still do (sized up too much, I guess). They look pretty worn...this might be the solution.

Yes, I basically took a mosaic approach to it (cut little pieces, strips, whatever I needed). I stuffed my hand in the boot with each application of tape and pressed really hard, smoothed (and smoothed), inspected and moved on. I think it will hold just fine.

Seriously, those are *awesome*! :thumbsup: At first when you described it I was imagining big 'spots' that you cut out of silver duct tape :ROTFLMAO:... what you came up with looks amazing! It would be cool to do that with Crocs and other shoes, too.

For those looking for different patterns & colors, I've also seen fun types at Michael's and Target. I'd imagine Joann's and Wal-mart might have some, as well, and probably Amazon.
