I am trying to figure out if it will be feasible to fit 3 kids in our 2003 VW Passat, especially in the fall when DD starts Kindy. I want to have the option of taking my friend's kid (DD's BFF really) after school if my friend (who is a teacher at the school) works late or what not.
We only have one car and one set of carseats. DD is turning 5 in July. She is in a FR 85. DS will be 2 in July and is RF in a classic MA. My friend has a LBB. I can probably borrow some other HBBs if I need to do so. Right now, I just have my kids outbound in the car, so nothing in the middle seat. We tried to fit the LBB in the middle and that didn't work.
Any suggestion on how to fit all of them? Should I put the MA in the middle? I just thought of that now as I am typing. Should I think about borrowing another HBB and put both the older kids in boosters. FR 85 just looks humongous. I am trying to avoid buying new seats.
