I have never gotten the Anthro appeal (please don't ban me from this board ;) )
but I looked up some of the skirts that GP had posted in her blog. I love the 2 ASOS skirts.

But I have never heard of this brand. I searched the website and found a ton of things I could see myself wearing (and some I went nonono!). The prices are reasonable - I searched under $35 and got over 1000 items. And they have FS everywhere. It sounds too good to be true, no?
Is the quality good? So how come I have never heard of this brand? Bad CS? What what? Give me the scoop :)

They have their own, high end and lower end collections. I got a great one shoulder dress, in two colors, on sale for $31 this winter. Its great quality, heavy fabric, well made, etc. Since they have such a wide variety, I think it's important to pay attention to the materials used and watch the videos (if they're available). Its a widely used site for fashion editorials. I have some simple flat sandals coming that I'm excited for ...and their free shipping always helps.

I bought a whole bunch of maternity formal dresses from them last year. I ended up returning all of them (my fault not theirs...I looked horrible in anything). I never had an issue. Free returns was really easy.

I heard about ASOS because Angie and a lot of the people on YouLookFab shop there. It's the UK's largest online-only fashion store.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ASOS.com
They carry their own line of clothes, as well as other designers (the $$$ stuff on the site is designer, the ASOS brand stuff is usually pretty affordable). The prices are good for their store brand, but sizing can be tricky because they use the British sizing system (so I ended up with size 10 skirts even though I usually wear size 4-6 in US sizes). It is free shipping and free returns though, which is nice (I ordered two sizes and returned one since I wasn't sure). The problem is that it takes longer to ship since everything comes from the UK. I only ordered from there once. A month later, I was like, "Where's my stuff?" and contacted them and apparently my order had been shipped a while ago, but disappeared. So they sent a replacement order, but it took a couple of weeks to arrive. Also, I noticed I got charged a small foreign transaction fee on my credit card, because they're UK based. They do have some fun clothes and a lot of affordable pieces in all the latest trends, so I might consider shopping there again--just not if I'm in a hurry! I see them as an online British version of H&M (I wish H&M sold stuff online). Hope this helps!

To add to GP's comments, I also tend to buy the larger size there (8 rather than 6). It reminds me of Boden in that way, British clothing seems to be cut more fitted than US retailers' (ridiculously, I'm a 2 or 4 in Gap!). And maybe since I'm in Mass, my packages seem to take only about a week (again like Boden). Their selection is just massive!

Thanks for the info! I am glad to hear that they are a reliable company. looks like their inventory is huge too.
And I love the FS/FR. So much easier than stalking Boden for codes :)
Yes, I did notice that the stuff had a wide range of styles and apparently quality too. But with FR, I might have to try them out!

I want to get that striped skirt you were wearing GP. For some reason, it is really calling my name ;)

Aw, I'm sorry, I don't see it in stock anymore, anamika. I bought it a long time ago, last fall:

Are you petite? Here's a similar skirt:

Here's one at Old Navy in the Bright Nite pattern:

Hope you can find something similar that you like!
