How do Patagonia shorts run?

Thinking about trying this pair

Anyone know how they run? I am a 6 in Eddie Bauer pants, for example. Also, I have big thighs and a small waist, any thoughts on whether they might work for me?

I ordered the Patagonia capris last summer and had to send them back bc they were huge on me. I ordered sz 4 thinking they ran small given their athletic customer base but they were enormous. I'm usually sz 2-4 for pants, sometimes 4, but I'd probably have needed a 0 in the capris! I think they were Escala capris and sz 4 would have fit you - they were generously sized in the thighs.

Oh, i meant to tell you, i personally sized up one size. I usually wear a 6, but ordered an 8 b/c Patagonia has run small on me before. Really glad i did. I actually wear a 4 in EB pants, as i think they run huge. I ordered the Borderless shorts, which seem similar, but shorter.
