I need some advice. . .

we are travelling to TX at the end of the month and I am wondering what people use as a travel crib for their little ones. . .

Our youngest will be 14 months at the time, and so we need an enclosed space to put her in to sleep.

We own a pack n' play, but it is going to cost $50 to get it down there and back (baggage fees) plus we have to haul the big heavy thing in addition to 3 kids and 3 car seats and our oher bags. . .

Was thinking about just buying a cheap one while we are down there at walmart or something and leaving it when we go, but that seems like such a waste. . .

Does anyone else have another brilliant idea of what to do? Any experience/advice would be helpful at this point!

Thanks,
Kati

Check with your airline; many US airlines (every one I've flown and asked, can't remember them all but off the top of my head pretty sure about American, US Airways, Southwest, & Delta) has allowed baby beds/pack n plays to be checked for free.
