Lands End $6.99 Sale at Sears

I know some people (self included!) were wondering if/when the great $6.99 sale on remaining fall/winter was happening. I am happy to report that, at least in my local Sears store in NC, the sale started yesterday. Extra 70% off lowest marked sale price for coats, $6.99 for more or less everything else fall/winter. HTHS!

I ran into Sears the other day and it was seriously picked over, unlike the good ol' days where I could get quite a haul :). I think it is partly due to less merchandise/selection in my store (even though the retail space is the same).

Anyway, I would be curious to hear what you all get- please share!

I was there on Thursday and they hadn't yet marked things down. Today (Friday) everything but the jackets were marked down -- including some of the winter shoes. I was a bit annoyed that the girl's skirt was 6.99 rather than 70% off of the $20 price ($6) -- the associate said she could only sell it to me at the higher price.

Oh, well. At least she got some $6.99 shoes!
