Title says it all. DH and I are headed to Cape Cod tomorrow for a rehearsal dinner tomorrow night and a wedding Saturday night. DH likes this dress the best, but I'm not sure its appropriate for a wedding? Mine is longer on me (to the knee or slightly above) and it's a wine color.

The other option is a black and white floral dress from White House Black Market that I've worn to a wedding before, but it's going to be pretty cold near the beach at night. Thoughts?

Yes, I would wear that in wine. I like it!

It's cute, but I wouldn't wear it to a wedding. It looks very J Lo casual. I would go for the floral dress with a pretty shrug or wrap.

I like it for the rehearsal dinner but not wedding. It'd be fine though.

It's pretty but it looks more 'hot date night' (at least if you have a body like the model ;)) than 'wedding in Cape Cod.' I would probably do the black & white floral one for that. :)
Have fun! I love Cape Cod!

I think it would be appropriate and jsut fine, but I usually use weddings as an excuse to dress girlie!

Thanks ladies! I think I'll play it safe and wear it to the rehearsal dinner. If DH had the choice, he'd have me wearing "date night" outfits every day :rotflmao:

Considering that women wear black dress pants at weddings, I think it would look great.
It could work for the wedding with the right accessories (blingy jewelry and major shoes) but otherwise is better suited for rehearsal.
