What are these shoes made of?

Are these really made out of snake or is it just a description of the design?

This is the description:
"Watersnake and elastic upper.

I'm not one who opposes wearing leather (I actually prefer it:bag). So there shouldn't be anything different about snakeskin, right?

The description says "python print", which I would normally read to mean that this shoes are made from leather with python effect imprinted on it, but the leather looks like actual watersnake. If you are on the fence, call customer service to find out for sure.
