What is the best tea party set for a 2 year old? What I am looking for is a set for 4 people. Preferably non-breakable and prefer a basket or something to store it in. Also really want the saucer to have an indention to hold the cup (does that make sense?) So not a flat plate that the cup slides on.

Any recommendations?
Links would be GREATLY appreciated.

We don't have this set (we have another Green Toys set) but if it were my choice this is what I'd get!

http://www.amazon.com/Green-Toys-5512754-Tea-Set/dp/B001543YEY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1334889359&sr=8-1

I love the feel of Green Toys stuff - substantial, smooth edges (you can barely detect the plastic molding!) And made from recycled milk jugs:)

If you look at the video, you'll see the saucer has the indentation to hold the cups.

:yeahthat: We have this set and love it! I think it fits all your criteria except that it does not come with a storage basket.

Oh yeah, forgot to add that we store all our tea set stuff in a canvas bin:)

Thank you for that recommendation I like that one alot. and I should have said that the basket was the bottom of my criteria list cause I knew that I could get a basket myself and I actually have a canvas bin that will be perfect but the set for 4 and indentation were musts so I love the recommendation. Thanks again and I just ordered it from Amazon.

:yay:

Glad you ordered it. You won't be disappointed. DD has it & LOVES it. I love that it's not breakable. We are served "tea and coffee" multiple times a day. :)

we have a bajillion teasets...honestly. i was also going to recommend the green toys set-- it's great! perfect for the age --lightweight but substantial and meets all your criteria except the basket. we have a bajillion baskets in our house too, so your plan to just add one is a good plan :):)

i like that this teaset can go outdoors or in the bath very easily too-- it's a really versatile toy :)

We have several, but DD and I both love the green Toy's set the best. It is sturdy and feels nice. I really like it better than her other plastic stuff.
