LOL, anyone have them before? they're good in a weird sort of way. Got a bag at BJ's for $2 and change. Reminds me a bit of the seaweed snacks from TJ's.

I remember eating those as a child. We purchased them at the Chinese grocery store.

Oh yeah! I ate these all the time growing up. They're exactly as you describe them: good, in a weird sort of way.

My DH always gets these when we go to Hawaii. I mean they sell them here too, but for some reason they are always picked up in the grocery store there!
I think they are kind of nasty but not altogether untasty if that makes any sense.

They just are different from the Western taste bud, but not totally foreign as it is based off a shrimp. Just that we normally don't see a Shrimp flavored Dorito.

I feel like Elektra, but DW and DD like em. But DW is a shrimp fiend and DD will devour anything junky.

The name is a huge turn-off. I'm convinced that most people wouldn't mind them so long as they didn't know they were "shrimp flavored."

We love them.

I think you can get them at Walmart as well.

LOl, we just got a small bag at the Asian grocery today. I dont' want to buy them too often, since I'm sure they're not healthy. But they are soooo yummy. Dora wanted them for school snack, and just had another serving after school. Probably won't last more than a day or two. :p

DD2 loves those. It is not an unusual snack for us, as we are Asian and regularly shop the Asian supermarket.

Didn't realize it was an Asian thing. =)

Any other different/yummy snacks? We always enjoy trying new things!

*Loved* these growing up. I've seen them periodically at Costco. I haven't bought a bag in a long time, but I'm guessing that they are really bad for you.

I grew up eating those. They are good, but not healthy, so we don't get them that often anymore. Anyone else notice that the, "shrimpy" flavor isn't as good as it was in the old days. Maybe it doesn't have msg anymore, lol.
