I bought this (http://www.anntaylor.com/ann/catalog/productDetails.jsp?prodId=274397&colorExplode=false&skuId=10897867&catid=cat620039&productPageType=search&defaultColor=6600&prodId=274397) dress at AT last night to wear to an upcoming dinner/fundraiser/concert event DH and I will be attending next month. I want some fun shoes (not too high) and jewelry. I am 5'2" with light brown short bobbed hair and fair to medium skin with some freckles. I usually wear silver/platinum vs gold jewelry.

ETA: I have tons of stores accessible to me and usually need to try on shoes to get the right size.

Cute dress!

Maybe some silver sandals and a big, chunky silver bracelet?

I would go for silver hoop earrings and a silver cuff bracelet (like the model is wearing). I think red shoes would be super hot with that dress. I would skip a necklace with the print.

I would consider a nude shoe, maybe patent leather, in a peep toe (with a pretty, brighter pedicure) or other heeled style. Something like this:

I'd keep jewerly very simple, given the all-over pattern of the dress. I agree with PP-- no necklace, a silver cuff bracelet or wider bangle, like a few inches wide, and simple earrings. ETA: You could do a cool larger ring instead of a bracelet.

ETA2:

set of bangles, could use 2 wider or all 3:

You're welcome. Based on your description, we have very similar coloring and hair, so I was trying to picture what I would try with that dress. The dress is really cute...hope you have a good time at your function.

Update and question:
So I bought these Bandolino "Mylah" peep toe shoes in red from Macy's (25% off with the Friends and Family sale! $44!) They are very comfortable. I actually went back today and bought the black pair just to have.
http://www.belk.com/AST/Boutiques/Boutiques_Primary/Bandolino_.jsp?ZZ%3C%3EcS=3%2B4294967294%2B2%2B19% 2B25%2B1&ZZ%3C%3EtP=4294906853&ZZ_PO=20&sM=mode%2Bmatchpartialmax&sI=productSearchAll&sO=SORTKEY_NEWARRIVAL%7C0&ZZ_OPT=Y&NavNumAggrERecs=20&PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=845524442066943&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=2534374302109238&bmUID=1335803246640 (top row, first shoe from right- if you click on the actual shoe, the red doesn't come up, they aren't on the Macy's site anymore.)

So my question is, what (general) color toenail polish should I do? Something that closely matches the shoe?

I also bought a few silver cuffs and coordinating earrings. I need to try the whole ensemble together to figure out what I like. (I will have to have to snap a picture of them, because they aren't on the Macy's site.)

I wouldn't do a toe polish color that matches the shoe. Since you've got color on the shoe, I'd do a neutral toe nail polish-- something that won't compete with the color on the shoe.
