I need to put a safety hinge on a toy box so it can't slam down on fingers and heads.......
What I just bought from Lowes was not what I had invisioned....the hinge, when open is somewhat "locked" into place....but will still slam down on fingers when pushed beyond the "locked" position.
I want to find something that will "softly" close when pushed down and will stay open on it's own when all the way open.
Has anyone purchased a hinge like this......I hate to buy online, sight unseen.
