Great deal! I ordered one the other day when it hit $40 because I figured that was a pretty good deal. I think the Lightning Deal price was $35 and I missed that.

I also saw the Kids Sonicare at Tuesday Morning for about $39.99 for those that want to buy at B&M.

Do you guys think this is too big for a 2 year old?

Thanks. I got one for my 4 year old DS. I had been looking for a good price after I got ones for DH and myself during the Costco sale.

If you purchase from Amazon.com as the seller (slightly more expensive) there is a $5 rebate.

That's a great price. I also bought it went it went down to $40 a few days ago for my 3-1/2 YO DS1. We've been brushing his teeth since he's 8 months old and taking him to get his teeth cleaned since 12 month (he goes to the dentist every 6 months) but at the check up the other day, we were told he's starting to build plaque (despite brushing his teeth everyday!) so we switched to this and DS1 LOVES it!

At this price, I might have to scoop one up for DS2 (18 mos) as well--although he probably won't be ready for this for another 18 months, lol!

Great price!
I got DD one for christmas, and she tolerates it......:rotflmao:

Where are people picking up the replacement heads? I would like to get some new ones.

Also, are there any more 'girly' faceplates? My DD is such a diva and she just doesn't like these colours....:tongue5:

I think the recommended age is 4+ but it seems like some people have used with younger kids.

Plus when you purchase from Amazon you can return it if you want.

I will say that Sonicare's rebates seem to be a scam. I'm still waiting for one from Christmas and there are Sonicare threads here and on Slickdeals that say the same thing so it's not just me.

is there a big advantage over a regular electric toothbrush?

Thank you for posting! Been waiting for a deal for a while and this is perfect timing - DS just asked when he could get one!

i *love* the one ds has - he cooperates great now, though the first three or so days were rough. and they come out very clean - he was definitely getting plaque too, but now it's gone.

For people with more than one DC, do they each have their own, or do you share w/ different brush heads? I'd rather just buy one, but not sure they'll be good at sharing... plus, we brush teeth at the same time.

I would use different brush heads - if you share the same brush head you're really sharing bacteria back and forth in the mouth.

My 2 year old uses this toothbrush. He got it for Christmas when he was 26 months. We call it his "space ship" toothbrush and he does really well with it.

I picked up replacement heads on a Target end cap for $10 on clearance a few weeks ago. A $4 coupon printed at the register and the cashier went ahead and applied it to that purchase.

DD has used it since about 2.5 yo. We use the smaller head and just don't use it every day. I mentioned it to her dentist and he was fine with that.

Sorry, I meant do you just have one base and use different brush heads, or do they each have their own whole toothbrush- bottom and all?

I'd get just one toothbrush - DH and I have shared the same Sonicare for years now :).

Thanks! Just got one for almost 3 year old DS2. DS1 uses the adult Sonicare, but maybe he and DS2 can share the kid's Sonicare and DS1's Sonicare can go to DBF.

Hi,
Thanks OP, for the deal. Got one.

I had few questions for those who already use this:

- How many brush heads come in the package?
- assuming you brush atleast twice daily, how many months do the brush heads last?
- Other than the target clearances (which I can never seem to catch), where do we buy brush heads on an on going basis?

Thanks!

How long does a charge last for? I would like to order one for my twin girls but do not want the charging base on my counter. If could last a while I would much rather take the base out to charge when necessary.

Hi,
- How many brush heads come in the package?

Thanks!

From the desription:

What's in the Box
Two brush heads for ages 4+ and 7+, 3 interchangeable panels, 1 rechargeable handle, 1 sturdy charger base with brush head storage.

Don't know the answers to your other questions sorry.

I am considering ordering this for myself. I have a super small mouth and often buy a kids toothbrush and need the kids bitewings when I get x-rays. Is that a bad idea? Seems like such a good deal and I don't have a sonic care right now.

Thanks!

chickadee, i don't see why not - just set it on the older kid setting.

i buy heads from amazon, on subscribe & save. i change them every 6 months, but i think the package inset says every 3.

lisa, a charge lasts a week or so. no need to keep the charger on your counter if you don't want to i shouldn't think.

I will let you know because with my luck DD2 is going to want to use it too.
