I am between a 6 and 8 in Boden sizing depending on the specific garment. I went with a 6 here.

Boden dresses:
I just was not sure where I would wear these and the fit was not that flattering on me IMO. They just hang down from my boobs. I don't know what I was expecting but I think the Boden model who is wearing this navy dress is just gorgeous and maybe I thought I would magically look just like her or something, which of course I didn't.

I got a pair of JAG jeans from NR for about $30. No link since they are gone now, but they make my short legs look 10 feet long, and DH *loves* them (so do I :) ). I have such terrible luck with jeans I wouldn't have tried them w/out seeing a suggestion for JAG on this board.

It was loud and cheesy looking in person. Too long as well.

I was so excited to get them from Boden but I could not make them work. First I ordered a 40 (I am usually a size 9) and they were HUGE. Fell right off my foot. Then I exchanged them for a size 39 and they were ok length-wise, but the sides and sole felt super stiff. I felt like I was walking on bricks because the soles had no give. Can you walk in yours ok?

And thanks for that dress link joules! I saw several color combos in that style actually. I am going to keep an eye out. Unfortunately, I think that rose combo would not flatter my skin tone.

Annie, I love that shoe color too. I have a cardigan in that chartreuse color, and a friend of mine just posted a picture of her in a maxi skirt that color too. I have to ask her where she got it.

E, the cotton pants are from Boden so I think that they do come in long. Though the regulars are pretty long on their own which is great because that means I can wear them with heels!

I rt. clicked on the item on the store website, saved it, and uploaded the image to Flickr. Don't know if you can do that w/a Mac or not? Then I cut/pasted the BBB code and deleted everything except the image part of the code.

Funny how misses for some are hits for others. Everyone has a different fit and taste which is great. I love looking at what everyone else gets though!

You have to copy the image by right clicking on it. Then click on the yellow mountain sign on top of the reply box, paste it there and hit ok. You have to do that for each image.

It's so much easier on a PC!

It's a mix of cotton and modal so it has a bit of stretch but I'd say it runs TTS. You can have as much gathered material as you want over your stomach if it's a problem area, and which means I need to wear a tank underneath. Or you can arrange some of the gathers higher up so that if you're not too busty you could probably get way w/o a tank underneath.

theriviera - I love those sandals & envy that you can wear Bandolino. I can't; I find they run too narrow for me. *sigh* Lots of lovely shoes in fairly budget-friendly pricing.

Is it sad that the only thing I've bought for myself this spring is a coral orange dress that was on sale at the AT Outlet? (And I can't even link it because there's no outlet online.)
