Amazon is running an extra $30 off of its refurbished Kindle Fire today. New price is $199, regular refurb is $169, today $139. I bought one about a month ago based on a posting here and the refurbished product looks brand new! We are liking if for our second tablet and really love the $139 price.

I'm thinking of getting the kindle fire. How is it for web browsing, etc? It's probably not as good as the iPad but the iPad price is way over my budget

When I asked the target employee, she told me that target plans on clearing them out as part of mothers day promo.

I called my Target today after seeing this post and they said the Fires are still full price at $199. The employee didn't have any other details (or wasn't sharing).
