I know its a pointless question as everyone will have a differnt time but I am so tired of waiting until 5 pm for the mail to come.

And what happened to cutting back on the days the mail is delivered? Is that going to happen soon?

I understand what you mean. My parents never got their mail earlier than 4-5pm. We are lucky now, we must be at the front of the route. We usually get our mail by noon, but the bad thing is that if you don't stick your outgoing mail out there soon enough in the morning, you may miss it. They can come by as early as 10am.

Around 11 am but we got it around 4 or 5 in my old neighborhood and I hated it. I also hate when I get a package and the mail carrier brings that to the door but leaves the mail in the mailbox.

10 AM. Same time here at the rental as we had/have in the old/new house.

Usually between 2-3.

I think they are not cutting back on mail delivery days, yet. Still 6 days.

When I worked in Brooklyn, I swear we got mail twice per day. Maybe I am insane and forgetful though...

ETA: did you edit your post? Someone said that mail has't changed due to budget cutbacks, and I meant to respond to that. I do wonder if it's still 2x daily in NYC.

It varies a lot here, which seems strange to me. It was coming around 4 with the occasional day where it wouldn't come until 6 or 7! Now ithas been coming around 2-3. Maybe they redid the routes?

Lately it's been between 3 and 4 which is heaven. For a long time it was as late as 6 or 7.

9:30-10 am. It is nice to get it so early, but terrible if you want to mail something but didn't stick it out the night before!

We've had a lot of inconsistency lately but theoretically it comes about noon.

On a good day, by 5. On a bad day, 7 or later. One day they didn't come until 9!

Used to be 3-4pm then it switched to 1-2pm which seems to be the pattern for few months. Sometimes we get it as early at noon!

Usually around 6pm, but some days if it isn't here around 6 we don't get delivery at all (and no, I don't live in the boonies, I'm in Brooklyn!) They've cut back on how many people are doing the deliveries and I think they sometimes just don't get to everyone with their new longer routes.

Sometime between 12 and 3 usually, it all depends on who the carrier is. The old carrier used to get it here by 11. I am not here except on the weekends so I really don't care when it comes.

9:30 a.m. . . . but they don't deliver to the homes here. We have to go to the post office to get it. And they do still deliver on Saturdays, but if you don't get to the PO by noon, they lock it (even the access to the boxes) and you can't get it 'til Sunday.

It causes a lot of problems with banking etc to live in a place where they don't deliver to the homes at all.

Ours generally comes between 11 am and 1 pm. I often see our mail carrier when I am heading out to pick up DS3 from school (11:30ish) or when I get back (12:30ish).
