Keep or Toss: Organic ground beef freezer-wrapped in fridge

Hi girls, What should I do:

Have 3lbs of organic ground beef that I defrosted in our fridge Monday. Assuming it takes 2 days to thaw out that brings us to Wednesday and its now 3 days later. Its still in the freer packs I purchased it in.

Keep or Toss? Thx.

Was it purchased frozen or did you bring it home thawed and then freeze it? If it was frozen from the get-go, I'd give it a sniff and and if it smells okay, use it.

I would assume it is fine. Is it the ground beef from WF from that sale a few months back? I just finished using mine this week. Tasty.

i'd assume it's fine unless proven otherwise. so, if it passes the sniff test, i'd use it.

If it doesn't smell bad, use it but cook it thoroughly. No beef tartare :)

It's probably fine. I ahd ground beef in my frindge for a week and it was totally fine.

Thanks everyone. I'll give it a sniff test.

One package was freezer wrapped, the other 2 were opened which I didn't realize. Ugh, so mad I let it go this long!
