Last week, I was eating a brownie and a crown came off one of my teeth! (yes, a soft, crumbly brownie did this). I have a dentist appt on Tuesday. I am wondering if since the crown did not break, it just came off, if they can put this same one back on. We do not have dental insurance, so I need an inexpensive fix if possible.

They may be able to. As long as there isn't decay under the crown they shouldn't have to do anything to the tooth other than remove adhesive. You might want to get some dental wax to protect your toothlet until you get in to see the dentist. Take it off to brush your teeth but maybe try keeping wax on it while eating? It would suck to chip the piece of tooth under your crown.

This happened to me. They were able to re-cement it back in. It only cost about $80 to do it.

If that could happen, that would make my day!
