80's themed school carnival - I need suggestions for me :)

The girls have an 80's themed school carnival Friday evening. I have their outfits planned, but I think the parents are supposed to participate. I won't go all out, but I'd like to give a nod to the theme. I'll be coming from work and won't have much time to change.

And it will be HOT. (really hot).

I have jeans I can peg roll (hot), jeans I can cut off to make shorts, and a jean skirt (dark denim pencil skirt). What shirt? Any easy ideas?

Neon and leggings...! Crimped or REALLY out there hair!

I'm working on an 80's theme day for the 24th, so thinking about the same thing.

I would crimp my hair, but I just won't have time to go all out! I work as a lawyer and will be going straight there... So I have to be able to do a quick change in the bathroom!

Maybe I can find a neon shirt to put on - any ideas where to look?

hmm, if you have to keep it to stuff that you can throw on, i'd do jelly bracelets (the more the better :))...big hoop earrings....ponytail up and to the side.....

neon shirts should be easy to find, they're all the rage now (i think i've seen at target)
