I just bought a dress similar to this at Dressbarn:

The print is similar, except more abstract and a little more white. The top does not have contrasting black detail, just a high scoop neck tank. It is empire but with some asymetrical draping.
I also bought a jacket similar to this, which I will likely wear the whole time:

EXCEPT it is matte black (solid, not sheer) and appears more fitted and less ruffley than this.
I am soo last minute with this and I don't even own a dress right now (other than this one). I feel like maybe it is too informal or too white for an evening wedding. It is at a loacl yacht club (nice but not stuffy or ultra-exclusive or anything).
Will I be totally out of place in this? I haven't been to a wedding in years and never dress up or even wear skirts. I am 40yo, I should have this down by now...
