DD has been asking for a pram for the past year. She has had several umbrella type strollers over the years but has always looked longingly at the PBK pram. We don't have a PBK in Hawaii and the shipping is outrageous in addition to the cost of the stroller, so I looked elsewhere. My main concern was height because DD is tall for her age. I ended up scoring the Chicco pram off B&N last month when they had a big toy sale for $21 shipped! We gave it to DD this weekend for her sixth birthday and she was thrilled. It was very easy to set up and it can collapse flat for storage. The height is perfect for DD–she does not have to bend to push it. She also loves the matching diaper bag. My DD still likes kind of young toys (baby dolls, etc.) and is not ready for older girl toys like the AG doll I hope to someday buy her. I thought I would share this in case someone is looking for a stroller tall enough for an older girl. It's not quite up to the par as the PBK stroller, which is amazing, but DD doesn't know the difference and for the price it is a great stroller (and I love that it's not pink!)
