Recommend your favorite wines

I'm looking for new wine recommendations--both white and red. Also, if there is a specific place that has good prices, please share!

I'll go first: I'm loving the Mark West Pinot Noir! It's around $8 a bottle and available at Costco!

cheap wines or splurgey wines?

I love love love Chateau St. Michelle Indian Wells Chardonnay. Usually around 12-15/bottle, at least here in Washington.

For a splurge - Leonnetti Merlot or Cabernet. I just bought a very discounted preorder bottle from the local wine store at $75. It's the kind you keep around for a few years for a special occasion. Delicious.

Also had (a very tiny glass of) R3 Os cab sauv/merlot/cab franc blend from 2005 that was a gift. SO opened it when his family was over. It was sublime. Hoping to order some and have it all to myself later.

We've been drinking a lot of Sterling Vintner's Reserve Meritage. It is about $8ish at Costco.

One of my favorite summer wines is Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc. It is consistently good. I just had the current vintage a few days ago, and it had a lot of grapefruit notes.

:yeahthat: I always have this around in the summer. It is my favorite white. Also, I just tried a Pinot Noir I liked alot called Kudos.

Our new favorite is White Cottage Ranch Risa. It is an amazing Cab blend. We are paying around $27. It tastes like a wine double or more in price. Definitely something nice to give as a gift.

For cheap, I love my Cavit Moscato. $8 a bottle.

Splurge, I love my Jordan Cab.
